Happy Sabbath night.
Since my brother's remarriage, my mother and I have invited him, his wife, and two stepsons over every New Year. We asked them about New Year's Eve, but he has to work. It is to be Sunday, January 2, instead. We considered the Sabbath, but my brother is an ex-SDA, and both he and his wife are strongly anti-SDA.[They both attend a charismatic Sunday church -- that tries to keep the "sabbath days which were shadows of things to come" in Colossians, the Leviticus 23 Feast Days, but breaks the Genesis 2/ Exodus 20/ Revelation 14:6-7 Sabbath that is not a shadow of anything.] When we invite them, his wife does some dishes and Mom and I do some. A few hours ago, she told us that the dishes that she is to bring on Sunday Jan. 2, she plans to prepare on Saturday, Jan 1. We let her know we prefer to fix everything than to eat it when prepared on Sabbath. We haven't heard back yet. Please pray. Thanks.
